We are looking for Laundry Attendant for VIP household in Oman
Salary: 1,000 – 1,200 OMR ($2,600 - $3,116) per month

We are seeking a meticulous Laundry Attendant to oversee the operations of our establishment in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, pressing, and folding clothes and other textiles, as well as supervising a team of laundry staff. Additionally, the experienced Laundry Attendant will be required to maintain records of items, manage inventory, and ensure the facility remains clean and operational at all times.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and train a team of laundry staff in sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and textiles.
- Remove stains from items using appropriate procedures and perform minor sewing duties.
- Maintain records of which items belong to whom and track inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits.
- Track maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment and ensure facility cleanliness.
- Anticipate and respond to customer queries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Keep sufficient tokens or change for the washing and drying machines as needed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a household setting.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds unaided.
- Basic arithmetic skills and excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Personable disposition with a knack for customer service.
- Availability to work shifts and weekends.

Washes dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans.
•
Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors.

Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
•
Removes linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets.
•
Places and neatly tucks clean sheets and blankets on beds and replaces
pillowcases.
•
Stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
•
Picks up and empties trash containers.
•
Loads washers and dryers and folds sheets and towels in laundry room as
needed.
•
In household property, notifies admin manager if something is not working
properly.
•
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
•
Detail-oriented and thorough.
•
Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or
guests.
•
Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to
complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
