We require a resilient construction professional who takes full ownership of site performance and has successfully delivered private-sector building projects within programme, budget and quality requirements.

Key requirements:
* Relevant building, construction management or civil engineering
qualification
* Strong Site Agent experience with a reputable main building
contractor
* Proven private-sector building construction experience
* Experience delivering commercial, residential, retail, hospitality,
healthcare or mixed-use projects
* Strong programme, subcontractor, labour and productivity
management
* Practical understanding of costs, contracts, variations and
commercial risk
* Ability to manage site meetings, consultants, clients and
subcontractors
* Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving ability
* Confidence to manage upwards and challenge decisions
constructively
* A track record of delivering measurable results under pressure
* Professional registration would be advantageous

The successful candidate must understand the financial, contractual and operational pressures of working for a main building contractor and demonstrate disciplined cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key requirements:
* Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
* Approximately five or more years of relevant quantity surveying
experience
* Proven experience with a reputable main building contractor
* Private-sector commercial building experience
* Strong knowledge of valuations, cost reporting, forecasting,
variations, claims and final accounts
* Experience managing subcontractor appointments, payments and
accounts
* Ability to identify and manage contractual and commercial risks
* Strong communication, accountability and stakeholder-
management skills
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and
commercial discipline
* CCS Candy and BuildSmart experience would be advantageous

A well-established, medium-to-large butchery supplying both the public and restaurant trade is looking for an experienced Butchery Manager / Blockman to take responsibility for its day-to-day operations.

This is a hands-on position requiring someone who can manage the butchery, lead the staff and ensure that all customer and restaurant orders are prepared, packed and dispatched correctly and on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Overseeing the daily running of the butchery
• Managing and supervising butchery staff
• Managing incoming and outgoing orders
• Ensuring meat is cut, prepared and packed correctly
• Coordinating restaurant and customer orders
• Monitoring stock levels, quality and wastage
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
• Working hands-on as a skilled Blockman when required

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum five years’ butchery experience
• Proven butchery management or supervisory experience
• Strong Blockman skills
• Experience managing staff and daily production
• Good understanding of stock control, portioning and meat preparation
• Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
