OMI Group is looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor for a client in the Kinross area.
The successful applicant will supervise civil construction activities, oversee contractor performance and ensure
that work is completed safely, on schedule and according to approved drawings, specifications and quality
requirements.

Applicants must have extensive civil construction supervision experience within mining, industrial, infrastructure, bulk materials handling or heavy civil construction projects.
đ đļđģđļđēđđē đĨđ˛đžđđļđŋđ˛đēđ˛đģđđ:
ãģBSc, BTech or equivalent tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related field
ãģMinimum 10 years' experience as a Civil Construction Supervisor, Civil Site Engineer or in a similar role
ãģMinimum 5 years' experience on mining, industrial, bulk materials handling, infrastructure or heavy civil
construction projects
ãģStrong technical understanding of civil construction methods
ãģAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction schedules
ãģWorking knowledge of construction management systems and reporting tools
ãģExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
ãģFluent in spoken and written English
ãģValid driver's licence
ãģMedically fit to work on mining and industrial construction sites
ãģWilling and able to remain site-based for the duration of the project
ãģEPCM project experience will be advantageous
ãģBrownfields construction experience will be advantageous
ãģExperience within operating mining, petrochemical or industrial facilities will be advantageous

ãģSupervise all civil construction activities on site
ãģOversee contractor performance and compliance with contractual requirements
ãģEnsure work complies with approved drawings, specifications and construction schedules
ãģMonitor compliance with project safety, quality and environmental requirements
ãģSupport the implementation of the site HSE plan
ãģGuide contractors in complying with the project Environmental Management Programme
ãģAssist with site-generated project documentation
ãģSupport progress measurements and project planning activities
ãģAssist with internal and client progress reporting
ãģSupport the Quality Manager during inspections and quality-control processes
ãģCoordinate civil works with other engineering and construction disciplines
ãģAssist with supporting documents for project milestone payment claims
ãģMonitor construction progress, productivity and contractor performance
ãģIdentify and report construction risks, delays and quality concerns
ãģAttend progress, coordination and construction meetings
ãģMaintain proactive communication with internal and external project stakeholders
ãģSupport the safe and successful delivery of the project
