DevOps Manager

The DevOps Manager position requires a combination of a technologically skilled engineer and a
team player who provides leadership and direction of the operations of the DevOps Team within
the IT Department. The DevOps Manager is responsible for the development, support and
extension of our DevOps processes, tools and systems, and to ensure that the organization has
the best IT solutions to support our Ops and Dev teams. In addition, the DevOps manager will
support and mentor our DevOps team members through facilitating learning and improvement, to
ensure the team’s high-performance.

A BSc Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, a B. Comm Business Information Systems (BIS)
Degree, or a very high quality Technikon Diploma
8+ years working experience in technology focused areas of Information Technology in the same
or a similar role

To play an supportive and investigative role in performing operational processes to ensure that the bank and its client are operating within local and cross-border exchange control rules and regulations

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma or degree in Internal Audit / Financial Surveillance / Forensics / Risk or Compliance / IT, BCom

Preferred Qualification:

Certified Fraud Examiner. IT diploma/degree, BCom or equivalent

Experience:

2-3 years banking with Exchange Control experience

Support investigations into cross border financial transactions and customer activities that may not be exchange control compliant amongst others, this includes mining and analyzing currency flows, ensuring that customer accounts are blocked and tracking the progress of investigations
Contribute to effective and efficient Exchange Control monitoring
Act with urgency in escalating non-compliance to relevant internal stakeholders
Produce accurate, timely, comprehensive exchange control reports
Execute training and communication campaigns in order to create awareness, knowledge and skills amongst internal stakeholders and/or the SARB related to exchange control compliance
Support the risk assessment and evaluation of the effectiveness of established controls

Act in ways that are consistent with FCC's brand and values
Handle stress in ways that do not negatively impact others
Act in an ethical, transparent and morally defensible manner, including highlighting unethical practices
Continually share, debate and communicate learnings
Flag and debate issues constructively
