We’re excited to share a big milestone—Ikhala Community Radio now has a brand-new landline number and upgraded phone system, thanks to our partnership! As a key voice in the Blue Crane Route, Ikhala FM does amazing work bringing news, stories, and music to communities who otherwise have limited access to local media. We’re thrilled to have been part of helping them take their connection with listeners even further.

This journey has been all about building connections and empowering community voices, and seeing Ikhala FM launch this new hotline has been so rewarding. Thank you to Ikhala FM for the partnership, and here’s to making every call count! 🎙️📞

Following the advent of democracy in 1994, the new democratic government declared 16 June as National Youth Day and June as Youth Month. This year National Youth Day and Youth Month was celebrated under the theme: “Accelerating youth economic emancipation for a sustainable future”

In helping to draw more young people into the economy, the government has under the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention initiated various youth development and empowerment initiatives to support young people. East Jaguar international supports employment initiatives through training and skills development. Our initiatives provide the necessary support for young people to take on new challenges and win.
We equip our young agents with the necessary skills for providing our clients with excellent customer engagements.

We officially partnered with the SA Youth network under Harambee, which is an essential part of the Presidential Youth employment Intervention. The partnership has become a game-changer in our effort to expand access to the opportunities available to young South Africans.

SA Youth brings together a wide range of partners within and beyond the government to create an ecosystem of support for young people. It aims to ensure that every young person, no matter where they are or what their circumstances, has a place to go for information and support.

Young people can register on the network for free by visiting https://sayouth.mobi/, a mobi-site that is zero-rated by all mobile operators, or at any of the 127 labor centers and NYDA centers in all nine provinces.

Our COO recently had the pleasure of attending the Customer Experience Management Summit 2022 held in Cape Town last week. What an experience!

Over the course of the 2days we got the opportunity and privilege to meet and learn from so many incredible and experienced CX professionals.

We'd like to express gratitude to our mentor and guardian angel, Mandisa Makubalo, CX Global Thought Leader for affording us the pleasure of supporting you at the summit. Seeing you and deBBie akwara, CMC, XMP in action was EVERYTHING. Thank you both for such a stimulating session.

Identify and understand customer needs to consistently provide a high quality service.
Follow clear instructions and guidelines to investigate, resolve and process high volume customer enquiries in a timely and effective manner.
Escalate any queries or complaints to the appropriate channels to ensure they are handled and resolved in a timely manner.
Provide accurate information on products and services to clients to ensure consistency across the organization.
Promote and cross-sell the client’s products and services to complement existing products (where applicable) and enhance customer experience and loyalty.
Operate customer related information systems to maintain and secure records.
Contribute to the success of the team and the business by achieving personal targets.
Adhere to the company and department standards, policies and procedures.

Qualifications And Experience
Grade 12 / Matric
Customer Service Experience advantageous


Required Skills:

Computer literacy
Proficient in MS Word, Email and good typing speed
Neutral accent with excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Work from Home Requirements: Reliable space to work remotely & quality internet.

Hours: The availability to work 40-45 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST Mondays to Saturday(rotational shift)

Salary: Monthly: +/- R7 500 - 8 500 depending on hours worked

This Women's Day we highlight two remarkable leaders who have forever changed my life and undoubtedly the lives of so many others. Allow me to reintroduce, Mandisa Makubalo, CX Global Thought Leader, and Janine Basel.

Mandisa is the founder of Unlimited Experiences SA, which is the first 100% black-owned customer experience management consultancy in SA. She's been ranked in the Top 50 Global Thought Leaders on Customer Loyalty. Mandisa’s role involves working with domestic and global clients at an executive level along with their teams to provide advice on high-level decisions and solve complex organizational, business, and operational problems through the value of CX management. Mandisa serves on a variety of domestic and global boards and is currently leading Women in CX ™ Africa. She believes women must break free from a mindset altered by external forces to unlock the power inside themselves. My Guardian Angel and Captain.

Janine is the founder of Entrepreneurship for Africa - Akro Accelerate, a R100 million investment fund. Akro Capital also owns Akro co-working spaces and Akro Accelerate (PTY) LTD and has received investment from the R1.4 billion SA SME Fund. In addition to accelerating and funding startups across sectors and stages, Janine runs the Girl Boss Hustle initiative that supports female entrepreneurs. Janine founded Akro after a 16-year hiatus to raise her two sons. She's what I call a Super Mom.

I was blessed to have met these two pioneers when I was selected for the Akro Accelerator backed by Imvelo Ventures. That is where they guided us to think like leaders and try solve the worlds problems one step at a time. This serves as a small reminder and a thank you for the work you ladies do. Thank you both for sharing your insights, experience, time, and knowledge so freely. Your wisdom and guidance continue to aid me in overcoming the difficulties of entrepreneurship and life.

How exciting! Our COO recently had the pleasure of being part of the Young Entrepreneurs Launch Programme hosted by alx_africa . Where to his surprise, he was awarded with a Community Award.

He was already so enthusiastic and filled with great pride that out of over 2,000 applications received, East Jaguar International had been accepted into the programme. As if that wasn't encouragement enough, he went on to be featured on the Launch Community Corner for the cohort and then also their internal customer segment where they would share with the wider alx_africa family . They were taken on an amazing experience filled with so many invaluable lessons. He got to meet and form bonds with so many wonderful entrepreneurs and leaders based in different parts of Africa. We are so grateful to the YEP team for the wonderful opportunity and award. Next we join The The Room Fellowship to continue adding value to the community.
