The venture studio model is a new model for entrepreneurship, combining company building with venture funding in order to compress time, iterate quickly, and scale faster. However we are pioneering a hybrid model of venture studio and accelerator business model in South Africa with a

focus on creating a new model for entrepreneurship. How does it work? Rather than looking for companies out in the world, ideas are sourced, vetted, and accelerated from inside the organization itself. We provide an inhouse operational team, strategy development, business development and other business support functions. The more the business grows, the more able it is to employ its own operational staff and at point of maturity is spun off into its own separate entity.
