It is a South African private company that aims to make a profit like any other company, and also a company that endorses a lot of corporate responsibilities to the African continent. Before being a registered company, Africa United World started as a concept born from a dream of its founder: Angela Antchouo. In her vision, she saw it as an organization that would combine the best of both business
worlds: profit and non-profit, for the benefits of the African continent as a whole. Looking at the state of Africa in terms of political, economic and social development, she dreamt of a better Africa united and constantly growing to the heights of development. The question on her mind was: how can it happen? There are the resources on one side and people in need of those resources on the other side. The people can satisfy their needs with those resources, but they do not have any way of accessing them. The resources holders do not have access to all the people in need; as a result they cannot satisfy the needs of everybody. So Angela Antchouo took upon herself to bridge the two sides. She decided to create the entity that will link every need to its needed resource across Africa; the company that will connect opportunities to investors; the organization that will bring hope to the desperate, light to the lost, hand to the helpless; the medicine that will be the remedy to the African continent sicknesses: poverty, underdevelopment, famine and diseases to name but few. Africa United World wants to see a new, better and stronger Africa, united and marching on the heights of development; free from famine, free from poverty, free from diseases and any other sicknesses. MISSION
Africa United World aims to push the development of Africa by facilitating investment and development opportunities, in order to create ventures that will positively impact the social, economic, educative, rural, infrastructural and industrial development the African community, as well as uplift the living conditions of impoverished people, particularly women and children. These ventures will be platforms that will facilitate the access to basic resources to broader populations. OBJECTIVES
Africa United World objectives are: to satisfy basic human needs of populations everywhere in Africa, to create employment opportunities, to provide housing and infrastructures where needed, to reduce the level of poverty, to provide access to education and medical care to everybody, to reduce the impact of social and health challenges, to eradicate famine and every other African sicknesses.
