We are thrilled to share that the Ministry of Defence is launching the first-ever National Cadets Week! 🚀

This landmark week is all about celebrating the incredible achievements of our cadets, shining a light on the dedication of our adult volunteers, and helping young people right across the UK reconnect with the Armed Forces 🇬🇧✈️

From developing life-changing skills and leadership to taking part in unforgettable aviation and fieldcraft experiences, the cadet movement builds the foundations for excellence.

To our cadets and CFAVs past and present, thank you for making our community what it is. Let's make this first National Cadets Week unforgettable!

A massive well done to 2 of our cadets having completed Bronze Wings training today with 616 AGS at RAF Northolt. The day had them complete flying training on flight simulators to complete the day with a flying assessment.
Our very own Squadron Warrant Officer who is one of the Unit’s instructors had the pleasure of issuing their wings!

Just a reminder that we close on Bank Holidays!
we’ll be back on Thursday. Until we’re allowed back in our Sqn building we’ll be running with amended training times, 7-9pm

Thanks to Wainscott Primary for allowing us to use their building whilst our Squadron building is out of bounds! We’ll be parading from Thursday in the school hall instead of the squadron building. Uniform will be working Blues

🚨 Squadron Closure 🚨

We’ve been instructed with immediate effect to once again temporarily close the Squadron. We are looking to establish reasons, and to look for alternative locations to parade from.
Any updates regarding time frames will be posted here when we have a better idea of what’s going on.

Today we tip our hats to our parent service, the Royal Air Force on what is their 108th anniversary!! The RAF has and continues to provide our cadets with some amazing experiences and opportunities which we are always greatful for!

Look at those happy smiley faces!! Believe it or not these were taken pre flight!! 4 of our cadets accompanied by 4 cadets from 2374 (Ditton) Squadron Air Training Corps travelled to RAF Benson where they got to experience flying in the RAF Elementary trainer the Grob Tutor. Most of the 8 cadets were flying for the very first time. Needless to say they all really enjoyed themselves! Our thanks as always go to for giving them the opportunity to fly!
