Today, Downtown Inc celebrated the grand opening of Benjamin & Sons with a ribbon cutting at 23 E. Philadelphia Street!

Owner Benjamin Price created Benjamin & Sons with a vision of building a welcoming space that serves as a refuge and gathering place for the community. Blending coffee culture with community, the shop offers coffee, vintage clothing, vinyl records, and accessories all under one roof. During today's celebration, Benjamin also praised The Grotto for creating a low-barrier opportunity for entrepreneurs.

Congratulations, Benjamin & Sons! We are excited to have you in Downtown York! Thank you to our partners at the City of York, members of City Council, Commissioner Hoke, Downtown Inc Ambassadors, YBIDA members, and everyone who joined us to celebrate. We’re also grateful to Around The Clock Cleaning, Downtown Inc’s Ribbon Cutting Presenting Sponsor, for helping make these celebrations possible!

Installed by Downtown Inc in June 2024, the press features four York-centric designs and lives inside the lobby of The Yorktowne Hotel for all to access. Next time you’re downtown, stop in and leave with a little piece of York.

Every penny pressed helps support Downtown Inc’s work in economic development, placemaking, promotions, and public safety throughout York’s Central Business District.
