✨ OCTOBER MERCHANT OF THE MONTH: THE KITSCH-ENETTE ✨
In less than a year, The Kitsch-enette has gone from a new face on South Beaver Street to an integral part of the Market District business community, and we’re pretty darn glad they’re here.
Part vegan café, part curated vintage shop, and 100% unique, The Kitsch-enette is the kind of place where you can grab an espresso, latte or tasty vegan treat, then lose track of time browsing vintage clothing, décor, collectibles, local art and other one-of-a-kind finds. Their menu is always evolving, with plant-based drinks, baked goods and savory bites that give you another reason to stop in and see what’s new.
But what makes The Kitsch-enette especially special is the way they’ve embraced being part of the neighborhood. In less than a year, they’ve hosted Market District merchant meetings, participated in the Vintage Trail and continued to dream up creative in-store events and experiences that bring people together during First Friday and beyond. They’re not just doing business here. They’re helping build community here.
And they’re not slowing down anytime soon!
🦫✨ Mark your calendar for the FIRST-EVER BEAVER STREET BAZAAR on Sunday, October 18! The Kitsch-enette is bringing a whole day of weird, wonderful, sustainable fun to South Beaver Street, with 40+ vendors, vegan food trucks and plenty of reasons to come explore one of Downtown York’s most eclectic blocks. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
