A previously denied waiver when processing with another service branch last summer, did not stop from exploring other military service options! 🧠💪 🇺🇸

Isabella provided the information I needed to submit an Army waiver on her behalf and it came back approved!

On Friday, she enlisted in the North Dakota Army National Guard as a 91B: Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. A job she chose because of her automotive interest! 🧰 🔧 🛻 👩‍🔧

Upon completing her training, she’ll serve in Fargo part-time, with goals of exploring our ROTC program at , and simultaneously pursuing her degree in animal sciences to become a veterinarian!

PVT Loberg will receive a $20,000 bonus, GI Bill, and GI Bill Kicker, as well as state and federal tuition assistance!

She is also my first enlistment in the since relocating from Nebraska!

Pretty special day today, I was able to enlist PVT Hoferer into the on the anniversary date of my enlistment 11 years ago!

PVT Hoferer enlisted today as a 12B, which is a Combat Engineer. He leaves for training in September and then will return home to Lincoln as a member of the 67th MEB. Until then, he will get paid to drill monthly with our Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP), to prepare for basic and advanced individual training!

To add icing on the cake, PVT Hoferer is a 2022 graduate from my alma mater, ! He joined the Guard for the many opportunities it provides, such as adventure, service to country, and 100% paid college tuition.

I joined the the summer before my senior year at . Over the last 11 years, I’ve realized that focusing on the outcome rather than on the obstacle, has been a great contributor to the success I’ve experienced thus far. I am willing to bet the same is for you too. It pays to believe in yourself - literally!

Junior, Quinton Zach joined the today as an 88M: Motor Transportation Specialist! Everyone please help me welcome him to the WINNING team!

As 11th grade comes to an end, PVT Zach is also preparing for his paid basic training adventure this summer! 💰 💪

After graduating from basic, he will return home, get paid his entire senior year, graduate on time with his peers, and attend just seven weeks of job training, before returning back to the good life to serve part-time! 😎 🫡

After less than two months of paid training, PVT Zach will acquire 63 college level credits before ever stepping into a college classroom.

A former Lincoln High Link, SPC Vitamvas joined the Nebraska Army National Guard in 2019 as a 91B: Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, while still a junior in high school. He completed Basic Training that summer, and then returned to for his senior year. After graduation he completed his job training, and returned to Nebraska to live, work, and serve right here in Lincoln!

Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawk standouts! 🦅 🇺🇸

Honored to have these two seniors on my team in the ! .briggs and

Private Briggs joined last week as a Motor Transportation Specialist. On top of receiving 100% of her tuition paid, and a $407 monthly stipend while going to college, she also received a $20,000 bonus and an additional $200/ month GI Bill Kicker. 🚚

Private Thomson joined in January as an Airborne Infantryman. He too received a 20,000 bonus and the GI Bill Kicker! 🪂

Both will receive a monthly paycheck for the reminder of their high school careers. Once they graduate in May, they will attend their respective trainings. After training they will return to Nebraska and pursue their personal education and career goals while serving part-time in the Nebraska Army National Guard.

These are the leaders of tomorrow! Thank you for rising to the challenge! 🦅 🇺🇸

Get PAID to learn a VALUABLE skill in the automotive industry, and then receive additional hands-on-experience while going to trade school for free! Diesel mechanics are in high demand!

As a 91B, you’ll be responsible for: repairing and maintaining on all wheeled vehicles, recovering vehicles when they become disabled, and overseeing the vehicles’ electrical systems!
