Today was a special day for so many new service members.

Thanks to , 85 new Guardsmen and women along with enlistees from every branch were honored and recognized for stepping up to serve something bigger than themselves.

I had the privilege of reading the names of all the soldiers an experience I won’t forget. Every name represents a commitment, a story, and a future of service.

It’s truly a privilege to witness friends and colleagues achieve significant milestones in their military careers. Today marks a proud moment as Lt. Brogan assumes command of the 1060th Transportation Company in Framingham, MA.

Our paths first crossed serving together in the 110th Maintenance Company out of Devens, MA, in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Seeing this progression is a testament to dedication, leadership, and the strong bonds forged through shared service. Congratulations, Lt. Brogan. I can’t wait for your promotion

I just wanted to take a moment to share a great honor I was allowed yesterday! The ability to present the 2026 District competition medals at Pathfinder Voc Tech! As a former Skills USA Participant, I can’t tell you how full circle and special this was for me. Go pathfinder you guys crushed it sorry we didn’t get photos of all the winners but there’s many more you guys crushed it! Good luck at states and if I can guess right nationals as well!

Congratulations to Cameron Cayo! Our second new hometown hero of the day enlisting into the ,Cam is a high school senior from Minnechaug Regional high. He joined today as a 91B aka a wheeled vehicle mechanic!

Congratulations to David Acevedo on becoming today’s newest home town hero in the ! He joined today as a 31B aka a military police officer! When he’s not cutting hair Tuesday through Friday he will be earning skills and experience with us as a military police officer one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer!

Tad late to the post my apologies, however congratulations to .michael for enlisting into the in February! Michael is a senior at Minnechaug Regional High, once he graduates he will be attending basic training then job training to become a 91B aka a wheeled vehicle mechanic! But until then he will get to have fun with the team at . And get paid for it all!
