A business deal can evolve after the original contract is signed. Payment terms may shift, deadlines may move, or responsibilities may change through calls, meetings, or messages.
Problems can arise when those changes are never clearly documented and the parties later disagree about what was actually agreed to.
Emails, messages, invoices, revised proposals, and other records can become important when the written contract no longer reflects how the deal was being handled.
If a contract dispute is developing, consider having the agreement and related communications reviewed.
