Looking like an old school FAMU brochure photo shoot! 📸🧡💚

We participated in the 43rd Annual Historical Black College Fair at at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School on March 7 in Brooklyn. 👩🏾‍🎓📚

We were quiet this winter online, but NY Rattlers were offline braving the cold and loudly representing at various college fairs this season. 🥶❄️ As the weather warms up, we still start having more events to bring us together! Hope to see y’all soon! 🫶🏾

Happy Veterans Day to our veteran Rattlers including our chapter President, Chantell O Black 🧡💚🫡🇺🇸🪖

On this Veterans Day, we take a moment to honor and recognize the courage and sacrifices of all the brave men and women who have served our nation.

In observance of this important holiday, FAMU will be closed, allowing us to reflect on their dedication to protecting our freedom.

Let's come together as a community to express our gratitude and appreciation for those who have served. Thank you for your service! 🇺🇸

😩 Having FAMU Hoco FOMO this week? 🧡💚

🏈🐍 For our Rattlers in the NY area not bearing down to Tallahassee this weekend, we’ll have a watch party for the game at on Saturday, October 18 starting at 3:30pm, kickoff is at 4pm.

📺 And yes, the game will be shown on the big screens! Bring your school colors and school pride to have a good day of fellowship and learn about chapter membership!!

🧡💚 The world-renowned is bringing their legendary sound and spirit to New York City as part of HBCU Live! at the —and there are multiple ways to be part of the experience!

🥁🎺 How to See the Marching 100

1. Free Performances on the David Jenkins Bridge
From 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, enjoy 30-minute performances by the Marching 100 on the David Jenkins Bridge (between the 7 train exit and the park entrance).
These performances are free and open to the public—no ticket required.

2. Ticketed Performance at Night Match in Arthur Ashe Stadium
Arthur Ashe Stadium Night Session Ticket – Required to see the Marching 100 perform on court during the night match. Also includes access to all other stadiums and courts.

🎶🎤 HBCU Live! “Yard” Experience
Open from 11 AM – 9 PM, the HBCU Live! activation will be a celebration of culture, music, and tradition featuring:
FAMU DJs: DJ Nyla, DJ Bo Weezy, DJ R-Tistic, and DJ Toure
FAMU Cheer with high-energy performances throughout the day
Music, and activations celebrating HBCUs and the Rattler spirit
Accessible through all ticket types

The chapters of the FAMU NAA Northeast Region gathered in Baltimore on August 1-3 for the 61st Regional Conference. Hosted by the Greater Baltimore Chapter, it was a productive and fun weekend full of Rattler fellowship, discussion panels, games and other activities.

There was also an award presentation to recognize our leaders and members hard work to their communities and student recruitment efforts.
