NOW HIRING: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Mobile, Alabama
Pay: $25–$35 per hour
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong PLC troubleshooting skills? Wise Staffing Group is seeking a skilled technician to help maintain and repair production equipment in a manufacturing environment. If you have a strong electrical and mechanical background and are comfortable working in a cold environment, we want to hear from you!
Job Description
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve PLC-related equipment issues.
• Repair and replace motors, sensors, switches, conveyors, and other production components.
• Perform equipment setups, changeovers, and repairs as needed.
• Respond to production equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements
• Previous maintenance technician experience is required.
• Hands-on PLC experience and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
• Experience with motors, sensors, conveyors, and industrial equipment.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold and wet manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule and stand, walk, and lift as required.
Schedule Details
The 2-2-3 schedule rotates between working two days, being off two days, and working three days. For example, you may work Monday and Tuesday, be off Wednesday and Thursday, then work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pattern then rotates the following week.
