Last week, Governor Newsom and the State of California made changes to the Stay in Place orders in order to start the re-opening of the State. Specifically, Governor Newsom moved us to "Stage 2" of the reopening process. This means that "lower risk" workplaces are being allowed to gradually reopen.
In particular, in-home child care workers may be hired as long as there is adherence to basic prevention guidelines (e.g., handwashing, physical distancing, etc.). Under state orders, other services that do not generally require close customer contact are also allowed. These services include residential cleaning. -https://covid19.ca.gov/stay-home-except-for-essential-needs/
More information about Stage 2 can be found here https://covid19.ca.gov/roadmap/. The roadmap also provides guidelines about how to create a safer environment for both you and the candidate you work with.
In line with these modifications to the State Stay-in-Place orders and compliant with County orders, we are again working on requests for all in-home childcare positions, temporary and permanent. To the extent permitted by applicable County orders, we are also working on requests for other positions.
We look forward to actively working with all clients to help them find the care they need during this challenging period.
