UCSF Simons VIP Healthy volunteers ages 7 and older needed to participate in project studying relationship between genetics and Autism. Earn up to $260 for participation!

Complete our online survey to start enrollment now: http://j.mp/yJg0ML Dr. Elliott Sherr and his colleagues at UC San Francisco are studying the relationship between genetics and Autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disorders. We are recruiting healthy children ages 7-17 and adults to participate in the project. This research is part of a nationwide effort, underwritten by the Simons

Foundation (sfari.org/simons-vip) to better understand autism and to ultimately improve the clinical care of this disabling condition. What is involved?

• Phone interviews
• Cognitive testing and questionnaires
• Genetic testing (requires blood draw)
• Physical exam
• Photos
• Non-invasive brain imaging sessions: (MRI and MEG)
• Travel to UCSF and UC Berkeley for up to 5 study visits
• Study takes up to 17 hours not including breaks and travel time


Participants will receive upto $260 upon successful completion of the study. There are no costs for any of the study procedures, and all travel costs will be reimbursed. Interested Participants should first complete a brief survey to determine eligibility to participate:
