Ten years of touring what's new in Upstate housing, and this year did not disappoint.

We had a great day sponsoring and attending the 10th Annual New Construction Bus Tour, hosted by the Upper State Apartment Association. We hopped on the bus and explored seven new or rehabbed multifamily developments across South Carolina's Upstate region.

Safe Alliance, a well-known non-profit organization, supports domestic violence survivors and s*x trafficking victims. Their work helps people find safety, heal, and rebuild their lives. With October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month, this cause feels especially close to our hearts.

Our South Carolina team has had a busy month, and it's not over yet; more events are taking place next week.

We appreciate the opportunity to celebrate the talented associates who work hard to keep properties running smoothly and can take a little time out for some competitive fun. Blair, Matt, and John attended the USAA Maintenance Mayhem event at Flywheel in Greenville, SC. Maintenance associates from management companies participated in the games. One example: Who could change a kitchen faucet the fastest? The event also featured hands-on challenges and even a signature derby car race, where local maintenance service technicians built their own derby car (before arriving) and raced to see who was fastest and had the best car, competing for cash and prizes.

Congratulations to Denzial from Village Park Apartments, managed by Eskay Management, who won our raffle prize of a $50 Lowe's gift card.
