🇷🇸 DL Vladan Djokovic has officially made his U.S. college football debut for Glenville State.

The freshman defensive lineman from Belgrade, Serbia saw his first collegiate action in Glenville State’s 2026 season opener against Elon.

Vladan arrived in the United States after developing with SBB Vukovi Beograd, and Glenville State currently lists him as a 6’7”, 250-lb defensive lineman on its 2026 roster.

His route to college football came through the PPI pathway. Vladan joined the PPI DreamChasers Tour, competed in front of U.S. college programs and built a recruitment that included opportunities from Toledo, West Virginia State and Glenville State before choosing the Pioneers.

From playing American football in Belgrade to taking the field in a U.S. college game, Vladan has now completed another important step in his development.

🇸🇪 LB Benjamin Kennedy-Chaanhing (Benjamin Kennedy Chaanhing) has officially made his college football debut for Merrimack.

The freshman linebacker from Ystad, Sweden appeared for the Warriors against Delaware, marking his first collegiate game after making the move from European football into the U.S. college system.

Merrimack’s official participation report confirms Benjamin was on the field in the game.

Benjamin’s development started in Sweden with RIG Academy, and he built an extensive international résumé before coming to the United States. Merrimack lists him as a 6’2”, 220-lb linebacker, a two-time captain of Sweden’s junior national team and a former Junior National Team MVP.

His talent was already drawing attention through PPI several years ago. At the 2023 Road2D1 Combine / PPI Recruits International Bowl in Germany, 247Sports highlighted his physicality, pursuit ability and potential, describing him as a linebacker with FBS upside if his development continued.

Benjamin later moved to the U.S. for a postgraduate season at Berkshire School, where he ranked among the top 10 in Massachusetts in tackles and earned All-Evergreen First Team recognition. Merrimack’s staff specifically praised his effort, size and explosive athleticism when bringing him into the program.

He ultimately earned a full scholarship to Merrimack, enrolled early in 2026 and participated in spring football before beginning his freshman season. PPI has continued to follow his development, including recognizing him as one of its alumni beginning his college career at Merrimack.

Another PPI international prospect has now officially reached the U.S. college football field.

Across the country, PPI athletes are entering another season representing their universities and continuing their development at the next level.

From international prospects who came through the PPI recruiting pathway to established college players now competing in major programs, this group represents years of scouting, recruiting, placement, development and opportunity.

We are proud to see so many PPI athletes preparing to take the field this fall and represent their programs throughout the 2026 season.

🇩🇪 OL Lorenz Metz (Lorenz Metz) has re-signed with the New England Patriots practice squad.

Lorenz remains in New England following NFL roster cutdowns and will continue his professional career inside the Patriots organization.

PPI first connected with Lorenz while he was playing in Germany with the Kirchdorf Wildcats. After entering the PPI pathway and competing in front of U.S. programs, he earned his first Division I opportunity and eventually developed into an All-Conference offensive lineman at Cincinnati, where he was part of the Bearcats’ historic College Football Playoff team.

His NFL journey has since included opportunities with the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots.

Now, Lorenz has secured another NFL opportunity with New England for the 2026 season.

🇺🇸🇩🇪 RB Zavier Scott () has signed with the Chicago Bears practice squad.

A new NFL opportunity for the PPI Alumni after spending the previous stage of his professional career with the Minnesota Vikings.

Zavier’s connection with PPI goes back to his time playing high school football in Germany. With no college scholarship offers at the time, he joined Brandon Collier and PPI on the DreamChasers Tour, where he gained exposure to U.S. programs and ultimately earned his opportunity to play Division I football at UConn before finishing his college career at Maine.

He later reached the NFL with Minnesota, becoming the first PPI Alumni to appear in an NFL regular-season game and score an NFL touchdown.

Following the 2026 preseason, his NFL career continues in Chicago with the Bears practice squad.
