Mrs. O's Creations Find the perfect handmade crocheted or sewn accessory. Ranging from necklaces to shawls, some items are even one of a kind. My main love is yarn.

My main skill is crochet. So I'm putting crochet related content on this site in addition to plugging my Etsy Shop. I do also dabble in sewing. Occasionally there may be sewing related content as well
I learned to crochet when I was a little girl but never got beyond making a chain. I didn't have the patience or understanding to read patterns and comprehend new stitches. I got back into croche

t when I got married in 2008. I was unemployed at the time and decided that I needed to be more constructive with my time. As can be imagined my first projects were as bad as can be. But I progressed rapidly especially after getting Edie Eckman's "Crochet Answer Book". It clarified many terms for me and helped me to understand patterns and concepts better. I even started designing my own patterns. I gave a lot of gifts and was told that my items were good enough to sell. So in 2009 I opened an Etsy shop with an eye to selling. I chose this option since at that time I had found employment, that did not have a set schedule or hours. I needed flexibility which online selling seemed to fit. I did not get serious about the shop until 2014. I started listing items and working on expanding my visibility which is the purpose of this page. I want to get the word out so people know that I have some fun, beautiful and functional creations for sale.
