Digital Boondocks Sacramento video production company creating video content for the web and social media. The term "boondocks" came about during the American-Philippine War.

The Tagalog word for mountain is,"bundok'. When I say mountains, they really were out in the sticks. So the word eventually turned into "boondocks." Probably from soldiers mispronouncing it. In the mountains of the Philippines there are still many indigenous tribes and many at one time were headhunters. I decided to use a headhunter as my icon not only because I'm Filipino, but I'm trying to carve a place for myself in the internet boondocks.
