Hi! I’m Somer Acierno, M.S., CCC-SLP, and I’m so excited to be joining the Proven Path Therapy team! I was born and raised in Upstate South Carolina and began my career in education as an elementary school teacher, spending seven years in the classroom before earning my Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University. Since becoming an SLP, I’ve worked with children in both pediatric clinical and school-based settings, including the past five years providing speech and language services through teletherapy. My background as both a teacher and an SLP has given me a unique understanding of how communication skills support learning, confidence, and meaningful relationships. I truly love helping children find their voices, build confidence, and become stronger communicators. Outside of work, I’m a wife and mom to two girls (11 and 6), and our family loves traveling, boating, swimming, and spending time outdoors with our doodle. I’m looking forward to a wonderful journey with Proven Path!
