Happy Friday everyone!

Over the last few weeks if you have driven past the Fire Department in the back you could see we've had some damaged cars. We have been diligently training over the past few weeks on extrication and proficiency with all of our extrication equipment.

On May 27th Captain Schwiesow/FF Sanchez/Captain Gerow put on a training for Local members, Raymond Fire Department Volunteers, and Volunteers from Pacific County Fire District #3. Training lasted over 3 hours going over our battery powered extrication tools, stabilization/cribbing, and much more. This is invaluable training for everyone involved.

This is just an example of the work that gets put in on training and instruction on a weekly basis.

Have a great weekend and stay tuned for more on what your Local Raymond Professional FF's are up to!

It’s been busy to say the least!

We are starting something new here at Raymond Fire Department!

In an effort to educate our community on our system we are going to be sharing about how our system runs, our equipment and our people.

To start things off here are some stats –

May 2025 RFD responded to 157 calls for the month for an average of 5.06 calls per 24 hour shift.
This year, May 2026 we responded to 217 calls! That averages out to 7 calls per 24 hour shift. It’s been a busy spring!

Check back to this page for more information on your RFD in the coming weeks and as always BE SAFE

To the Citizens of North Pacific County,

It has been and continues to be the honor of the Local 2776 Raymond Professional Firefighters to serve the community we live in. We take great pride in the opportunity to provide first-class emergency medical services to the citizens of North Pacific County. We understand this privilege is entrusted to us through the generosity of our neighbors we serve every day.
On the ballot this November is the North Pacific County EMS District No. 1, Proposition No. 1 for Ambulance and Emergency Medical Services. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who continue to put your trust in this group of individuals dedicated to bringing the best possible service to our community.
If approved, Proposition No. 1 will continue to provide the necessary funding to operate an immediate 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year Advanced Life Support service through 9-1-1. This is the highest pre-hospital care available to the public and is absolutely vital to the health and safety of our community.
We cannot thank you enough for your trust and generosity throughout the years! On this November 4th, 2025 ballot, please consider continuing to support Proposition No. 1 for Ambulance and Emergency Medical Service.
