Linn County Freedom Rock Foundation Lets raise money to bring a Freedom Rock to the Linn County Fairgrounds in September 2021 You can also donate HERE.

The Linn County Freedom Rock will be at the Linn County Fairgrounds in Central City. The fair’s Marketing Manager Heidi Steffen says the decision was an easy one:

“With several veterans on the fair association, we are honored to have the opportunity to permanently host the Freedom Rock. The last several years the association has dedicated Sunday of the fair in honor of current and former military personnel for ‘Military Day’ at the fair. Now we will have something on the fairgrounds that we can honor military personnel not just one day a year, but every day of the year.”

“I’m proud to be the person that got things started for a Linn County Freedom Rock. I can’t wait to see it come to fruition and pay tribute to the incredible local men and women who have served our country through the years.” explains Bob James, Promotions Director, 98.1 KHAK. Bob James teamed with John Mikelson of Midwest Military Outreach to form the Linn County Freedom Rock Foundation. You can make a tax-deductible donation to the Freedom Rock that will be in Central City at local Dupaco Community Credit Union locations. Current plans are for the rock to be painted by the end of 2021. https://thelinncountyfair.com/linn-county-freedom-rock/
