Our next Lunch & Learn Volunteer Training tackles a topic every juvenile defender needs to understand: the critical differences between the juvenile justice system and the adult criminal justice system, and what brain development has to do with it all.
Join us June 9 from 12 to 1 p.m. via Zoom for "Common Misconceptions about Juvenile Justice. What's the brain got to do with it?"
Presenters Christa Lindemer (University of Michigan Law, Juvenile Justice Clinic) and Lynda McGhee (Michigan Children's Law Center) will break down how understanding adolescent brain development can make attorneys a lifeline for young people and their families.
