Quick tip for anyone shopping for CNA classes: the required training hours depend on your state.
The federal minimum is 75 hours, but some states require a lot more:
• California: 160 hours
• Missouri: 175 hours
• Maine: 180 hours
• Iowa, Ohio, Michigan and many others: 75 hours
Before you pay for any class, make sure it's approved in the state where you plan to work. A class from another state may not count.

(Full disclosure: I run this site. It's free and I built it to answer these exact questions.)
I run a CNA training program, so ask me anything about getting started.
