LANE (Legal Aide for Entrepreneurs) for connecting us with Big Law Attorneys who provided legal advisory services and are supporting with the updating of Catrice HR’s service agreements as well as the development of service agreements for Catrice Cares Childcare services which will serve as a resource to parents by recruiting and staffing childcare providers to families seeking in-home 1:1 childcare providers in the south suburbs of Chicago.

Last week, Our Founder was selected to represent Catrice HR at the 2026 Chicago Media Career Fair sponsored by Chicago Headline Club. She provided resume review services to seasoned professionals and graduating students in Media and PR.

She really enjoyed providing individuals who had strong technical skills in media strategies for leveling up their resume to showcase their knowledge, skills, and expertise to include the quantitative and qualitative impact of their skills and the positions that they have held.

She enjoyed challenging the media and public relations professionals to hone into their selling and storytelling skills when describing their impact in their role, on their team, and at the companies that they have worked.

Additionally, she had the opportunity to network with media professionals who offered their career fair insight in the form of resume review services, mock interviews, panels and presentations.

Wishing the media and pr attendees much success in their job search!

We are proud of our Founder who
attended and participated in her second pitch competition this quarter; this time at Allstate's 2026 Supplier & Procurement Summit.

Beyond placing in third place in Allstate’s pitch competition, our Founder experienced amazing panels and speakers, as well as made meaningful connections.

She was stretched, inspired, challenged but more importantly, she felt energized by the ambition and intellect in the room, including that of her fellow pitch contestants.

Congratulations to Catrice HR’s Founder on starting a new role as a part-time HR Consultant Manager/Director servicing a law firm in the life sciences and pharmaceuticals industry. As a former nationally pharmacy technician and former HR Business Partner for Corporate attorneys, this role is a culmination of her experiences.

Today was a great day of reflecting on the final MSDC semi finalist pitch competition seminar. Our founder learned about capital and lending and at what stages of business that various capital opportunities become available. She appreciated the statements from Allstate on the importance of small businesses to the ecosystem as well as LISC’s informative financial presentation. A special thank you to MSDC for making opportunities like these possible to small business owners.

In addition to reflecting on this opportunity, She met with her business mentor and sat in an information session for a second pitch competition with angel investors.

Our Founder has been diligently working on a pitch competition application and has been selected as a semi finalists. This experience has been a once in a lifetime experience filled with upskilling, network building, mentorship, pitch preparation, and continuous preparation for future opportunities that enable Catrice HR to help companies position their people for purpose productivity and profit.
