The GOCC meets for lunch monthly at 11:30 a.m. on the first Monday of each month at Odenville Presbyterian Church fellowship hall. A reservation is required to make sure everyone has a meal. Debbie Childers is a speaker, humorist, and author. She finds great humor in the fact that all through her school years she got in trouble for talking and now she gets invited to do it!!! She was the winner of the Jeanne Robertson National Comedy Contest for 2018. She is married to Tim, her college sweetheart. They have recently retired to her hometown but now they are busier than ever! They have two grown children, SEVEN grandchildren, and two great grandchildren who have brought incredible joy to her life and made her old before her time!!
