Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the Oakdale City Council, recognized Glen Bearth for four years of service on the Parks and Recreation Commission. During his time, he contributed to the Parks System Plan Update and other park improvements. Glen has also volunteered for numerous events such as Summerfest and the Eco Fair and Clothing Swap, and he serves as president of the Maplewood Oakdale Lions Club.
Lion Glen shared the stage with Lion Doug Olson. The City of Oakdale also made a proclamation for the June 20 Strides Walk for Diabetes Awareness.
