Newburg FFA Blood Drive Committee traveled to Springfield today for the annual student leadership workshop. They were named “Best Dressed” & won $50 which we used to enjoy a sweet Andy’s treat! 🍦During the training they spent the day coming up with new ideas to promote donors, increase donations, and give back in our communities. 💪🩸

They even got to present their own Shark Tank-style idea — short video in the comments below. 🦈🎬
Geared up and ready to roll for the 26–27 school year. First blood drive is October 13. 📅

Goal: at least 40 donations at every drive
so we can hit the higher scholarship level. 🎯🌾

This past Tuesday, some of our members and officers traveled to Mountain Grove for Area Leadership. They got to learn the many traits of leadership and how to be a good leader. A great time was had by all!

After leadership session, our members traveled to Houston for a tasty sitdown meal at
The Eatin Place ! 💛💙

Flying into our next Officer Spotlight is one of our favorite gals—the Vice President who helps keep us going and our chapter flying in the right direction, Miss Abigail Lewis! ✈️💜

💙 Living to Serve 💛

A few weeks ago, 7 members of the Newburg FFA Chapter joined more than 782 FFA members from 95 chapters at the Missouri State Fair for the 10th annual Missouri FFA Day of Service!

Together, members packed an incredible 252,564 meals to help feed food-insecure families across Missouri. We are proud of our members for putting the FFA motto into action and helping make a difference for Missouri families! 🌾

We’re kicking off our Officer Spotlight with the one leading the way this year — our Chapter President, Joel Brandt! 💙💛

Joel has big goals for his future, including earning his American FFA Degree, and when he’s not busy with FFA you can probably find him pole vaulting, riding his Harley, or on his dirt bike!

We’re excited to have Joel leading our chapter this year and can’t wait to see what this officer team accomplishes! 🌽👏

Newburg FFA is kicking off the school year! 💙💛

All Ag students are invited to join us Wednesday, August 26 at 5:30 PM in the Ag Building for dinner, a quick meeting, recreation, jacket try-ons, and T-shirt discussion!

Parents are welcome too, especially parents of our freshman students! This is a great chance to learn a little more about FFA and what the year will look like.

Come hang out and get ready for a great year with Newburg FFA! 🌾
