The Assistant Nightlife Manager thrives in a fast-paced environment and offers experience in a full-time, Nightlife Management position. You will manage all aspects of late night operations and ensure each guest has a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
-Direct functions of night operations management and planning in conjunction with other departments
-Lead by example by inspiring the team to achieve and exceed targets to include, but not limited to guest relations, team member relations, costs and efficiencies, and sales and revenue
-Analyze the night operations needs of the venue including, but not limited to, staffing, forecasting, controlling and supervising
-Assign and delegate responsibility and authority for the night operations.
-Perform opening and closing procedures
-Ensure all team members on the night shift are trained in their positions to maximize service, production and efficiency
-Own the guest experience of the nightlife including, but not limited to greeting VIP arrivals, recognizing repeat guests and protect their privacy and confidentiality and handling all guest incidents
-Be an ambassador for Peak brand by meeting and exceeding core objectives and value.
-Collaborate with the beverage team to ensure maximum profits, at the highest standards of service and quality, including food production, equipment use and control, beverage service, restaurant/bar service and food and beverage purchasing
-Participate in and conduct meetings with other departments to ensure that all night operations are leading toward guest satisfaction, maximizing profit and productivity.
-Maintain clean and excellent condition of lounge
-Take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of team members, guests and property. Respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situations
-Supervising cash flow and handling bank-related duties
-Prouce creative promotions
-Maintain compliance with Peak’s policies, procedures as well as city, state and federal laws
Requirements:
-Great communication skills, great training abilities
-Fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication abilities
-Minimum 2+ years in NYC Nightlife Management
-Patience and empathy; a motivator who leads by example
-NYC Food Protection Certification
-Strong knowledge of the industry, including wines, bar costs and labor systems
-Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
-Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolve problems using good judgement
-Follow directions thoroughly
-Understand guest’s service needs
-Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
-Work with minimal supervision
-Maintain confidentiality of guest information
-Physical ability to work a nightlife/events role—including walking, bending and reaching
-Open schedule availability, including late nights and weekends is required
-The ability to program Aloha POS is essential
