Not every nursing job offer is as good as it looks.
Before you accept your next position, watch for these important contract terms and potential red flags in offer letters:

A signing bonus or relocation package may need to be repaid if you leave early. Read the fine print carefully.
🚩 #2 Hidden Floating Requirements
"As needed" language can mean being assigned to units you never expected to work in.
🚩 #3 Mandatory Overtime
If there's no clear limit on overtime requirements, you could end up working far more than anticipated.
🚩 #4 Signing Bonus With a Long Commitment
A bonus tied to a 2-year commitment without a reasonable exit clause can restrict your flexibility.
