We are looking for an experienced Netsuite Solutions Architect to join our growing team at HELM (www.helm.ceo)! You’ll be working with our client in the supplements industry to lead the optimization of their NetSuite platform and related tech stacks (SalesForce, Jirav FP&A platform, etc.). Your expertise will directly shape the ability to scale and streamline operations. This role will help get the most out of technology investments through system assessments, business process optimization, system integrations, new system and module implementations.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned NetSuite expert who combines deep functional and technical expertise with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, sales forecasting, and financial planning. You translate business needs into scalable system solutions—especially around dashboards, demand planning, BOM accuracy, and workflow automation. You bring a proven track record of eliminating manual processes, aligning cross-system data (NetSuite, Salesforce, FP&A tools), and improving visibility for key stakeholders. You drive outcomes, not just configure systems.
Responsibilities:
Assess, analyze, and lead improvements in forecasting, performance tracking, financial planning, and stakeholder reporting.
Enhance core NetSuite modules including Forecasting, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Procurement, and Financials.
Evaluate and optimize manufacturing functions in NetSuite, including Work Orders, Assemblies, Routings, WIP, and BOM.
Collaborate with teams to gather requirements, map workflows, and deliver approved process enhancements.
Create custom scripts, workflows, SuiteApps, and dashboards to increase operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain SOPs for new solutions and ensure adoption across departments.
Define and implement best practices for data governance, scalability, and integrity.
Provide architectural direction to admins and/or third-party resources, assisting with troubleshooting and resolution.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of NetSuite experience with a focus on architecture and customization.
In-depth knowledge of NetSuite CRM, Manufacturing, and Inventory modules; experience with Salesforce and NetSuite FP&A tools.
Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and Celigo integrations.
Understanding of lean manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Preferred: NetSuite certifications (ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer).
Strong ability to communicate technical solutions to teams across sales, finance, and operations.
Skilled in APIs, middleware, and integrating complex systems.
Solid grasp of cloud infrastructure, data transformation, and security standards.
Self-motivated and capable of leading multiple initiatives with little supervision.
Collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication abilities, especially when bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven project management skills with experience guiding cross-functional efforts.
Location: Fully remote (contractor basis)
Weekly Hours: 20hrs per week, 9am to 5pm CST, with potential to increase to 40hrs.
Pay Range: $40 - $55 p/hr depending on experience
PReports to: Senior Director of Finance
