Save the date! The Cherokee County Retired School Personnel Annual Christmas Luncheon will be held December 17th, at 11:30 at Legends Steakhouse in Murphy. This luncheon is our treat! Please come and enjoy some fellowship and great food. Invitations will be mailed tomorrow but please help spread the word!

We are so sad to acknowledge the passing of our own Sarah Swain; a beloved Cherokee County educator. Visitation today 10-18-25 at 5-7 with funeral tomorrow at 2 all at Ivie’s funeral home in Murphy.

Bring your appetite and your joy for our colleagues who are getting to say "SCHOOL'S OUT FOREVER!" Our guests will be Jill Long, representing ICL, the Young Harris College adult learner program and Terelle Harr will attend to introduce her. Smith, a dedicated educator in Cherokee County, will be honored with a highway dedication ceremony tomorrow Thursday July 25th @ 11:00 am at Mill Race Farm.
