Rotary District 6150 Leadership Academy The program is intended to improve the recruitment of Rotarians to accept leadership roles in their community as well as their club.

The program is intended to improve the recruitment of Rotarians to accept leadership roles in their community as well as their club, and to develop some basic leadership skills in those persons as a foundation for learning and performing specific responsibilities. Topics covered include Leadership, Planning, Communication, Ethics, and Responsibility. Under the leadership of Past District Governor

Debbie Brinkley, a special committee studied other Rotary leadership programs and compiled what is considered the best fit for our district. The program outline was presented and approved at District
Conference on May 1, 2010.

I love it when a team activity is ORGANIC rather than "organized" - that it originates genuinely from inside rather than outside the team. Class 3 decided on their own to bridge the 3-month span between sessions 2 & 3 with a 2-day social and charity event Nov 22-23 in Jonesboro!
And, they want the whole family to join in--Classes 1 & 2 and the board.
