Would you like to be one of them? If you are interested in participating in the Rock Candy Plan for your country, please follow these steps:
1. You must “LIKE” the photo of the city in the Rock Candy Cities photo album that is the city in which you live or in which you will be operating your new startup business. If the City is not located on the Rock Candy Cities photo album, please let me know
so I can put a photo of your city in the album.
2. You must create a page for your new startup business and provide a link to this page in a comment that you write under the photo of the city in the Rock Candy Cities photo album. You will be the page admin for your new startup business page and you should described on that page the type of business that you are planning and provide any other information that you think will be useful for potential investors in your new startup.
3. You will need a Board of Directors for your new startup business. To keep it simple, your Board of Directors will initially be your fellow Page Admins on your startup's page. This Board of Directors should be made up of people that you trust and people that can vouch for you as the CEO of your new startup. Your Board of Directors should include at least 5 people (counting yourself).
4. You can then begin recruiting family members, friends and other first customer prospects to LIKE your new startup's Faceboook Page and make comments on the page about why they think that your business is going to be successful and why they think you will make a great CEO of this business. Your initial target should be at least 50 fans for your new startup page. The number of fans that you generate for your page will be used by investors as one of the key metrics for how likely you are to have what it takes to be a great CEO of your new startup.
5. The funding partners of the Rock Candy Country pages will evaluate the new startups' pages that are listed on the Rock Candy Cities photo comments and will determine which new CEOs are most deserving of an equity investment of $15,000 and what % of the new startup is justified for this level of investment. The range of equity percentages will be between 10% and 20%. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me anytime!
