Niche offers PRN, Long Term Contract, Travel and Direct Hire RN, LPN & CNA placement options In a variety of rehab healthcare facilities around the Midwest.
As a Niche Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work Assisted Living, Memory and Senior healthcare settings and locations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care and administering treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assisting with medical procedures, including suturing and wound care
- Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly in medical records
- Collaborating with case managers and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conducting physical examinations and assessing patients' overall health status
- Providing basic life support and emergency care as needed
```Qualifications```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
****MUST have current TB Testing and CPR certification!!!!
- Valid nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior care home, clinic, hospital or similar healthcare setting
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Athena health
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation standards and practices
- Experience in case management and coordinating patient care
- Familiarity with occupational health guidelines and protocols
- Ability to perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests accurately
- Certification in basic life support (BLS)
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes is a plus
- Experience working with seniors and adults with memory and developmental disabilities is preferred
Please note that our travel positions requires the flexibility to work in different locations as assigned.

Pay range (based on location, type of role and medical specialty)
RNs $35-$48/hr
LPNs $28-$35/hr
CNAs $16-$25/hr
