The return of Jesus Christ should fill the hearts of His people with hope, joy, and eager expectation.

Throughout Scripture, the Church is described as the bride of Christ, awaiting the return of her Bridegroom. What a beautiful picture of the relationship we have with our Lord and Savior.

But as we anticipate His return, we must ask ourselves: Are we living as a bride preparing for her Bridegroom?

Our preparation is not found in our own righteousness, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Through His precious blood, we have been redeemed, cleansed, and reconciled to God.

And in response to that grace, we are called to live lives of repentance, obedience, and continual fellowship with Him.

To remain in His Word. To seek Him in prayer. To walk by the Holy Spirit. To turn away from sin and pursue holiness as He continues to conform us into the image of Christ.

Our hope in His return should transform how we live today.

We should not only long to be in His presence when He returns, but eagerly seek His presence each and every day on this side of eternity.

“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’” Revelation 22:17 (ESV)

May we be a people who eagerly await the return of our King, growing in His likeness and living for the glory of His name alone.

Maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus.

To surrender your life to Jesus Christ is to recognize that you no longer belong to yourself. You have been redeemed, purchased at a price far greater than anything this world could offer: the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

And that truth should transform how we view everything.

Our relationships, careers, finances, ambitions, possessions, and even the opportunities we’ve been given are no longer ultimately about building our own kingdom. They are opportunities to glorify the King to whom we belong.

Following Christ isn’t about adding Him to an already established life. It’s about surrendering the entirety of that life to His Lordship.

Every gift becomes an opportunity for stewardship. Every decision becomes an opportunity for obedience. Every aspect of our lives becomes an opportunity to glorify Him.

“For you have been bought for a price: therefore glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:20 (NASB 2020)

We are not our own. We belong to Christ.

And if Christ is our life, may our lives reflect that truth.

The Hypertrophy Program has been rebuilt.

Building muscle requires more than simply lifting weights, chasing a pump, or accumulating fatigue.

Muscular hypertrophy is an adaptation that occurs when we provide an appropriate training stimulus, recover from it, and progressively repeat that process over time.

The rebuilt 12-Week Kingdom Strength Hypertrophy Program was designed around that principle.

Across three progressive training phases, the program systematically develops muscular size through purposeful resistance training, appropriate loading, progressive overload, and fatigue management.

Throughout the program, you’ll learn how to apply:

• Mechanical tension and training volume
• RPE, RIR, and proximity to failure
• Progressive overload and periodization
• Exercise selection and repetition ranges
• Training intensity and rest periods
• Recovery and fatigue management

But this is more than 12 weeks of workouts.

The rebuilt edition includes expanded exercise science education, enhanced coaching guidance, improved workout organization, interactive educational resources, and a completely redesigned premium training experience.

My goal isn’t simply to provide you with a training program. It’s to help you understand why the program is structured the way it is and how each component contributes to muscular development.

Because effective hypertrophy training isn’t about doing more for the sake of doing more.

It’s about accumulating the right training stimulus, recovering from it, adapting, and continuing to progress.

Stimulus → Recovery → Adaptation → Progression

Whether you’re looking to build muscle, improve your physique, or become a more knowledgeable lifter, this program provides a structured, evidence-based approach to hypertrophy training.

A positive orthopedic test does not automatically give us a diagnosis.

In this clip from the Kingdom Strength Podcast, Dr. Ethan Holm discusses shoulder orthopedic testing and how his approach to interpreting these tests has evolved with clinical experience.

Consider how many named tests we learn for the shoulder: Speed’s, Yergason’s, Hawkins-Kennedy, O’Brien’s, Empty Can, Lift-Off, and many others.

Many of these tests use symptom reproduction as part of what constitutes a “positive” finding. But reproducing shoulder pain during a particular maneuver does not necessarily tell us, in isolation, exactly which structure is responsible for the patient’s presentation.

This is where Ethan introduces an important concept: the integrity of the test.

Rather than simply asking whether a test is positive or negative, we can pay attention to how the patient performs the task and what happens throughout the movement.

Was pain reproduced?

Was there weakness or an inability to maintain the testing position?

Did the patient compensate?

Did the response change with position, resistance, or load?

Does the finding make sense alongside the rest of the examination?

Sensitivity, specificity, and the traditional interpretation of a positive test still provide valuable information. But an orthopedic test is ultimately one piece of evidence within a much larger clinical picture.

The goal is not simply to perform enough named tests until one becomes positive.

The goal is to understand what each finding contributes to the working hypothesis and whether it should influence what we assess next.

That shift turns orthopedic testing from a checklist into a clinical reasoning process.

Field sport performance requires more than being strong or fit.

Athletes need to accelerate, sprint, produce force rapidly, decelerate, change direction, react, and repeatedly express those qualities when it matters.

The rebuilt 16-Week Field Athlete Program was designed to develop the physical qualities behind performance on the field.

The program progresses through four training phases:
Hypertrophy, Max Strength, Power, Performance

Across those 16 weeks, training progressively develops:
• Strength and unilateral capacity
• Acceleration and speed
• Power and rate of force development
• Deceleration and change of direction
• Plyometric and reactive ability
• Multidirectional movement
• Conditioning and work capacity

But this isn’t a sport-specific skills program.

Your practices develop the technical and tactical skills of your sport. This program develops the physical capacity to express those skills at a higher level.

The rebuilt edition takes that system even further with enhanced programming, expanded education and coaching, improved organization, and a completely redesigned premium training experience.

Whether you play soccer, football, rugby, lacrosse, or another field sport, the objective is the same: Become stronger. Faster. More explosive. More resilient. More capable.

The spine doesn’t always need to remain rigid during training. In the appropriate context, we can also progressively train its ability to move and tolerate load.

During a GHD extension, gravity creates an external flexion moment as the torso lowers. The posterior chain controls that movement eccentrically before producing force to extend the hips and trunk back toward the starting position.

This gives us an opportunity to train the posterior chain dynamically through a controlled range of motion.

The stimulus can also be easily manipulated through range of motion, tempo, external load, pad position, and the relative contribution of the hips and spine.

I like this variation for developing posterior chain strength and endurance while progressively building tolerance to loaded trunk movement.

We don’t always need to avoid movement. Sometimes we need to progressively build the capacity to control it.

Season 3 of my podcast is here!

To kick off the new season, I sat down with Dr. Ethan Holm from The FARM: Functional Athletic Rehabilitation & Movement for a conversation about clinical assessment, orthopedic testing, sideline care, and the process of developing as a clinician.

One of the themes from our conversation was the importance of keeping things simple early in your clinical career.

Experienced clinicians often make clinical reasoning look effortless because years of repetition have developed pattern recognition. They have seen similar presentations, learned which findings carry more weight, and developed a better sense of where to direct the examination.

As a young clinician, trying to replicate those shortcuts before developing that experience can create more confusion than clarity.

You don’t have to have everything figured out on the first visit.

Build a strong foundation. Follow a systematic process. Gather meaningful information. Develop a clinical picture. Then make the next defensible decision.

Pattern recognition comes with experience. Good clinical reasoning starts with mastering the fundamentals.

The Strength Program has been rebuilt.

Getting stronger requires more than simply lifting heavier weights. It requires intentional progression, appropriate loading, fatigue management, recovery, and a training system designed to produce adaptation over time.

The new Kingdom Strength Strength Program brings those pieces together in a completely rebuilt training experience.

The programming is designed to systematically develop strength, while the new educational content helps you better understand the principles driving that progress.

Inside, you’ll find:
• Evidence-based strength programming
• Progressive, periodized training
• Clear RPE, RIR, tempo, and rest prescriptions
• Improved exercise sequencing and workout organization
• Expanded coaching notes and education
• Mesocycle-specific guidance
• A premium, easy-to-follow training experience

This isn’t about chasing a max every week. It’s about building the capacity to become stronger over time.
