Folks, as previously announced, I’ve officially been serving as the Philadelphia Recruiting Flight Chief for Pennsylvania’s Air National Guard for about two weeks now. We’re working on several major initiatives, and I’m excited about the direction and future of the organization.

That said, I wanted to take a moment to recognize some of the final enlistments from my time as a production recruiter. It was a privilege to enlist 29 individuals into the organization, achieving 100% of my fiscal year goal in just six months.

While I’ve transitioned out of recruiting, there is still an outstanding team in Harrisburg continuing the mission. If you’re interested in serving, they are ready to help you take the next step.

It is with great excitement that I announce my selection as the Recruiting Flight Chief for the 111th Attack Wing in Horsham, Pennsylvania. It is an incredible honor to lead this team, and I look forward to delivering results that ensure the wing’s manning needs are met.

At the same time, this marks the end of an era. After eight and a half years with the 193rd Special Operations Wing, I close a chapter that has been incredibly meaningful. I had the privilege to serve across State College, Fort Indiantown Gap, and Harrisburg in multiple roles, including as a Production Recruiter and Battle Management Operator. The experiences and relationships built during that time will always stay with me.

I am grateful for the people I’ve worked alongside and the support I’ve received throughout my career. I’m looking forward to this next chapter and the opportunities ahead.

The ASVAB is more than just a test — it determines your eligibility to serve and what career fields you qualify for. Your AFQT score determines if you can join, while your MAGE line scores open the door to specific jobs in mechanical, administrative, general, and electrical career paths. The better you score, the more options you have.

Studying matters. A few extra points can mean the difference between limited job choices and landing the career you actually want. Take practice tests. Focus on math and vocabulary. Treat it seriously.

Preparation creates opportunity. Opportunity creates options. Options create leverage.
