The Concession Committee and Ohio River Sternwheel Festival would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our local IBEW 972 union and their apprentice program for their incredible support tonight. Their team generously gave their time and expertise to connect all of our food concession vendors to electric — a behind-the-scenes task that makes the festival possible.
Year after year, IBEW 972 shows up for us and for our community, ensuring that our vendors are ready to serve and our festival runs smoothly. 🙌 We simply couldn’t load in our vendors without the hard work and dedication of our local IBEW team.

LABOR DAY PARADE

IBEW Local Union # 972 will be participating in the Labor Day Parade on August 31st. Everyone and their families are encouraged to participate. Walkers and riders will receive an IBEW Local Union # 972 tee-shirt for participating. Accommodations will be made for those who cannot walk the whole distance.

We will meet up between 4th and Ohio Streets between 9-9:30 am, you really can’t miss us.... Breakfast sandwiches will be provided by the ALF-CIO.

Come out and meet your union brothers or sisters and their families.
