Restoring Gary Novak’s Fender Rhodes. Belonging to his dad Larry Novak, it was an honor taking this piano which was nearly unplayable, and restoring it to a world class instrument. A lot of history in these keys. #1970

Zawinul with a Rhodes Mark III EK-10 at The Bowl, 1981. Had a lot of requests for this photo after the Dr. Mix interview. The only photo I have of a professional artist out there in the world using it live. You can tell by the unique power supply cut out in the back of the Rhodes (pic2). He also modified the lid similar to Dyno to serve as a stronger flat top for other keys.

The family still has a legacy in my hometown of Buffalo, NY. The majority of Model Ds were manufactured 15 mins away from me in Williamsville and Cheektowaga from 1971 until around 1977. These pics are from Moog Inc., a successful aerospace division in Buffalo, founded by Robert Moog's cousin Bill Moog.
