Overjoyed with excitement around our recent Accelerator session. Starting with the fact that we’ve moved over to SoLa Foundation in their newly renovated building. It was the most accommodating & tech savy space we could have asked for. It felt like home.

The participants in the program delve into the world of financial literacy as it pertains to building a successful and sustainable career. And because our program is focused on building career pathways for music, film, and the intersectionality of those industries we had the pleasure of working with THE KJ Rose Jeriel Johnson Ann A. Adrienne S. Alexander and others!

And a BIG thank you to our The SONA Foundation and INK🐐 for invitation to join you at this year’s SONA awards. 🤩🤩🤩

We were blessed to have MARLEE XX on the tunes and mic as she moderated the day for us.

Looking back before we move forward. ✨

As we prepare for our next Arts Accelerator session this Friday, we’re reflecting on moments from our May gathering where conversations around storytelling, creative identity, and community reminded us that every artist has the power to shape their own narrative.

This Friday, we continue that journey with a new session focused on career pathways, ownership, contracts, and building the team that supports your vision because talent is only part of the equation. Understanding how to protect your work and navigate the business of creativity is just as important.

Every session is another step toward building a future where emerging creatives don’t just have talent, they have the knowledge, confidence, and community to thrive.

A powerful celebration of Black filmmakers and directors, with hundreds of submissions and an all-female production team.

✨Our Arts Accelerator is a space for creatives young womxn to explore their voice, build community, and grow in their craft through real world experiences, learning and mentorship.

For our last session, we gathered at The WalkGood Yard, holding space not only to create, but to pause and pour back into ourselves. With guidance from a wellness practitioner from the WalkGood family, our girls were able to ground, reflect, and reconnect.

We were also joined by community organizations like SONA, who showed up to share their insights and poured into this cohort reminding us how vital it is to be in conversation with those actively shaping the industry.

Programs like this are only possible through community. Having spaces and people who show up in this way allows us to nurture both the artist and the individual.

✨There aren’t enough words to properly express our excitement around the launch of our very first Arts Accelerator.

In February, we welcomed 9 incredible young womxn into the program who were hand-selected to spend the next year with us. We get the honor and privilege of pouring into them, supporting their growth as artists, storytellers, and future leaders in culture.

These womxn were chosen not only because they’re passionate about contributing to the world of music and film, but because it’s clear they want to learn, grow, and actively shape the stories and creative industries they’re stepping into.

We can’t wait to bring you all along for the ride.

✨ We’re excited to announce the launch of the Fem The Future Arts Accelerator! ✨

With the support of and .ai, this free program is designed to support the next generation of emerging creative professionals in music and film in the greater Los Angeles area. Through mentorship, hands-on learning, and real-world industry insight, the Arts Accelerator equips young artists with the tools to grow creatively, professionally, and sustainably.

We’re welcoming 15 creatives ages 18–25 into our inaugural cohort. If you’re ready to deepen your craft, strengthen your creative identity, and build confidence both on and off the stage, this opportunity is for you.
