Learning takes time. Absorption takes care. Seven days in the room with one artist, three educators, then six months following her as the system becomes hers — that can't be done at scale, and it was never designed to be.

Every artist who trains here gets the founder, the team, and the full weight of the design house on her work. That's what two a month protects.

It also means most months are booked before they arrive. October through December is nearly held.

This is a live case study inside Placement. She read the face and committed to her answer — and then we pulled up the actual anatomy. Hooded and monolid get confused constantly, and the wrong read produces the wrong map every single time after it.

The point of the exercise was never to be right. It was to find out where her eye stops seeing — because you can't correct a read you don't know you're making.

Technique executes the design. Judgment decides it. This week rebuilds the judgment.

No two of these maps repeat — and none of them were requested. Each one was derived from the anatomy in front of me: scored first, mapped second, designed last. The clients didn’t choose these sets. Their faces did.

That’s what separates designing from styling. A style gets repeated on everyone. A system reads what’s already there and builds what belongs.
