Fabulous Educational meeting thanks to our host Julie Astor at Pentec Health
Great Business meeting and dinner & election of chapter 313 officers
So excited to have Amy Connell take over as president and relieve Jennifer Branch who has stepped in a few times …
Thank you to Pam Ewing for staying on as Secretary, and for having lots of great ideas to help us move forward.. to Moore who continues her term as Treasurer, & Molly Cahill continues as HP rep for both Kansas & Missouri- since she lives in one and works in the other
Thanks to Rylea Stark for supportingour Programs! We appreciate you!

We have great plans for 2026 visiting the dialysis units next spring & summer to bring treats/merch - recruit student nurses, memberships is free, we also plan to do outreach in the community - a 1/2 or full day local program summer or fall 2026
We will be planning - recruiting vendors, speakers & sponsors

For your work/participation we will feed you & have done NN merch & prizes for giveaways!!

Heart of America Chapter Event

We are doing Feed Your Kidneys again this year to benefit Harvester’s in KC!

We are organizing, purchasing, and packing 60 full family meals
And donating the meals & a check ..

Tuesday September 16th
Anytime after 5:30

Come to building entrance corner of 115th and Russell
Enter the building following sidewalk on 115th to leasing office - once inside - upstairs to the 2nd Floor.
Party/Game room 2nd floor
If you happen to come after 6 PM, that door will be locked. Walk a little bit further and there’s a set of stairs on the outside that takes you straight up to an entrance into the party/game room…

The Heart of America Chapter 313 will be hosting an event September 16th .
More details to come - but we will be gathering food to pack 50 family meals for Harvesters Food Bank - as part of ANNA Nephrology Nurse Week.

She received the Ron Brady memorial award for exceptional volunteer service at the nephrology Nurse day luncheon yesterday at the national symposium in Portland, Oregon!!
