The idea of Shade Ship was born originally in May of 2017. It was founded by Christopher Jones, a lover of awesome shades. The idea came about when one day he tried on some glasses in a local mall in Las Vegas and realized they were a nice and solid pair of sunglasses. The main issue was, he did not recognize the brand. That is when he thought to himself, "Where do I find nice sunglasses and where

can I go to find shades that match my style"? The style that he was seeking was vintage and retro sunglasses due to the unique style he craved for. After thinking up the idea, Christopher headed home to look through his collection of shades and thought of all the places he purchased them, whether it was online, in a store, or a gift from a family member.
