While the athletic career never came, his passion for sports never waned. In 2006 Jeff combined his sports and photography passions to create InPlay Photos. An effort that started by shooting pictures of his own kids’ sports careers grew into providing other players and families with up close, in-game action shots of their favorite athletes. Jeff has shot a variety of sports for numerous organizat
ions including, the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), National Junior Basketball league (NJB), Irvine High School Athletics and others. Through his own life experiences, Jeff began to develop a passion for helping make the world a better place. He turned his camera toward social and economic causes such as ALS and extreme poverty. Through his photography Jeff has helped a variety of organizations worldwide promote themselves and gain support for their causes, including the Jim Karaffa Business Academy for Women (JKBAW) in Nairobi, Kenya, the Friends of Kibera, and the ALS Association of Orange County, among others.
