I had a client today who’s ready to make a career change. He’s built a successful career, but not one that lights him up.

It reminded me of myself.

I had a great run in retail. I loved the challenge, the pace, the responsibility. But the reality? Late nights and 60+ hour weeks didn’t align with the family life I wanted. So, I made the tough call, I started over.

I went from salaried back to hourly just to gain the experience I needed in a new field. And I’ve never regretted it.

Sure, times got tough financially. You cut out the luxuries, go back to basics, and bet on yourself. You work hard, learn fast, and climb again; this time, in a career that actually fits your life.

💡 My advice: Don’t confuse comfort with happiness. The paycheck might feel safe, but fulfillment pays in ways money can’t.

It’s never too late to pivot. You just have to be brave enough to start over.

Stop being so attached to the person you are. People keep blaming other people and other outside forces for their failures, but the reality is it’s themselves stopping them. Because they want to continue to be the version of themselves that they currently are, but they can’t picture the future version of themselves that they can become. They get comfortable, and afraid of change. You’re the one who is stopping you from the future version of you

This client went all-in with a total resume reconstruction + a custom cover letter. Curious what that process looks like? Here’s the breakdown:

🗂 Step 1: Discovery
We kick things off with a conversation. The client shares everything; old resumes, degrees, awards, special projects, and more. We walk through my services, and they choose the package that fits best.

🛠 Step 2: I get to work
Turnaround time is 3–7 business days depending on my workload. Every resume gets a custom touch; no templates here!

🎥 Step 3: Live review
