At one point in my career, I was reviewing close to 1,000 resumes a week.
Here’s the part that stuck with me:
Out of every 30 resumes, maybe one truly stood out.
Not because people didn’t have experience.
Not because they weren’t capable.
But because their resume didn’t reflect it.
There are a lot of qualified people getting overlooked simply because their first impression isn’t strong enough.
That’s a problem.
Your resume is often your only shot to get in the door. If it doesn’t quickly communicate your value, you don’t get a second chance.
That’s where I come in.
I’ve already done the hard part. I’ve seen what works and what gets ignored. I’ve built this toolkit to help you:
- Present your experience in a way that actually stands out
- Focus on impact, not just responsibilities
- Get past the initial scan and into real conversations
This isn’t about making your resume look “better.”
It’s about making it work.
If you’ve been applying and not hearing back, this is for you.
My toolkit is live. Check it out here: https://velascovibe.gumroad.com/l/Inkdresumes
