Responsibilities:
•Pulling plastic parts from molds and refilling molds with plastic powder

Schedule:

•Ensure a safe work environment is maintained, safety and environmental procedures are followed, and identify and report unsafe conditions. Correct unsafe conditions if possible.
•Maintain competency in batching, weighing, measuring, staging, mixing, and transferring raw materials in accordance with approved batch tickets, formulations, and work instructions. Manufacture product to specification by accurately following batch tickets, formulations, work instructions, and quality requirements. Immediately identify, communicate, and document any material, quantity, process, or quality discrepancies.
•Follow departmental work instructions and procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficient output.
•Follow the production schedule and execute all SAP/ERP transactions accurately and timely, including raw material consumption, inventory movements, batch completions, corrections, and material traceability requirements. Maintain a high level of transaction accuracy and ensure physical inventory and system inventory remain aligned.
•Verify raw materials, lot numbers, quantities, and specifications prior to use in production.
•Accurately weigh and measure raw materials using approved methods and calibrated equipment.
Requirements:
•High school diploma, or equivalent
•Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing, chemical processing, batching, compounding, mixing, coating, or materials handling environment preferred.
•Experience following formulas, batch sheets, manufacturing recipes, or detailed work instructions preferred.
•Experience using SAP or other ERP systems for inventory management, material transactions, and production reporting preferred.

Essential Duties:
•Responsible for tying or assisting with tying material onto racks with wire or chain for safe movement.
•Use wire to tie material to bow racks, universal racks, or other tooling to prepare for the tanks using specific training methods for the process.
•Use rope to lift and prepare material for the tanks using specific training methods for process.
•Operates and visually inspects all equipment (i.e. forklifts, cranes, tooling, etc.) prior to usage to ensure no maintenance is needed.
•Learns to rack a variety of materials by assisting others.
•Racks, unracks or cleans material in order as directed.
•May learn to use a torch to dry materials before hot dipping.
•May clean material using a grinder, file, or brush as specified by the customer.
•Inspects material for sags, runs, drips, bare spots and reports it to management.
•Uses bolt cutters to remove wire from product and tooling and disposes of it per established procedures.
•Learns to inspect materials for holes, smothered spots, etc.
•Perform housekeeping activities to keep production area and equipment clean and organized.
•Confers with supervisors to report material conditions that could result in production or customer problems by form of damage or quality issues.
•May assist with training new production helpers as specified by management.
•Required to wear protective equipment, follow safety rules and all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
•Ability to work in an environment that consists of smoke, irritating particular impurities, chemical fumes and hot and cold temperatures.
•Ability to spend a majority of the time is spent standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and bending.
•Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Must have good eye hand coordination.
