Some of the most important work happens after the crowds have gone home.

We’re excited to welcome back Harris County ESD No. 47 and the Westlake Volunteer Fire Department to the 10th Anniversary Lone Star Safety Fest!

Serving approximately 100,000 residents in the surrounding West Houston/Katy-area communities, Westlake VFD provides fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services to one of the most populated areas in the region.

Westlake VFD has been a longtime, valued partner of Safety Fest, and we’re proud to have their firefighters joining us once again as we celebrate 10 YEARS of bringing first responders and the community together!

Willowfork Fire has partnered with Fort Bend County Homeland Security & Emergency Management to bring **CERT Basic Training** to our Westside community — open to community members, even outside Willowfork’s territory!

And here’s the best part…
This full CERT course is normally taught over 8 weeks — but we’ve condensed it into ONE weekend. One weekend. One complete CERT training. 🙌

CERT gives everyday people the confidence and skills to help themselves, their families, and their neighbors during emergencies. No experience needed — just a heart for helping your community. 💛

❤️ Prayers for Willowfork Fire Department/Fort Bend County ESD 2❤️

Our hearts are with the men and women of Willowfork Fire Department following the accident involving Tanker 81. We’re keeping the injured firefighters, their families, and the entire department in our thoughts and prayers, and wishing every firefighter a strong and speedy recovery.

We’re also thinking of all those impacted by the wildfires that Willowfork was there to assist with. So many people and families have been affected, and we hope for safety, healing, and brighter days ahead for everyone.
