With 10 years of experience in ophthalmology, Charlene brings skill, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference. She strives to ensure every patient feels valued and receives the attention and respect they deserve.

Her supervisor shared:

Great News for Our Veterans!

VA Benefits COLA Update: 2027 Increase Announced

The Social Security Administration announced a 3.6% Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2027. Because VA disability compensation rates are required by law to match the same COLA percentage used for Social Security, veterans receiving VA disability compensation should expect an increase beginning with the new benefit year.

What this means:
✅ VA disability compensation is expected to increase by 3.6%
✅ The adjustment helps benefits keep up with inflation
✅ Veterans already receiving eligible VA benefits do not need to apply for the COLA increase
✅ Your exact monthly amount depends on your rating, dependent status, and any special monthly compensation.

The graphic below shows current 2026 VA disability compensation rates for a veteran alone with no dependents and what those rates could look like in 2027 after applying the 3.6% COLA.

Important note: These are projected estimates based on the official 3.6% COLA. Final VA rate tables should always be verified through VA.gov once published.

EGA Associates is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for anticipated opportunities at Sheridan VA Medical Center in Sheridan, Wyoming.

🩺 Registered Nurses
• 4 inpatient and 2 outpatient positions anticipated
• Day and night shifts available
• 13-week assignment | 40 hours per week | No call
• Current RN license, AHA BLS, and 3 years of experience required

💙 Certified Nursing Assistants

• 52-week assignment | 40 hours per week | No call
• Current CNA certification in good standing and 3 years of experience required
