Ever notice how some people can’t clap on beat?
It used to drive me crazy.

I’d be standing there, locked into the rhythm, wondering how they couldn’t hear it.
Until one day, I looked around and realized…

They weren’t off.
They were free.

They weren’t focused on the count.
They were lost in the moment.

While I was worrying about the beat,
they were busy having a great time.

That was the moment I realized...
experience isn’t about precision. It’s about perception.

In customer experience and decision mapping, we often assume everyone moves to the same rhythm.
..If we just design the right process, people will fall in line.

But humans don’t work that way.
Some are guided by data and structure.
Others by emotion and intuition.

When we build experiences—or decisions—based only on our own rhythm,
we miss the beauty of how others move.

True alignment doesn’t mean everyone claps together.
It means understanding why they clap at all.
